Pastoral Care
At Heritage College we promote a warm, friendly environment where all members of the College community take an active and positive interest in each other. Student behaviour is monitored and positive reinforcement is provided.
Our Welfare Officer, Ray Slade, is a trained counsellor who provides support and encouragement to our College community in the following ways:
• One-on-one listening and advice with ongoing help where needed
• Small group or class activities/workshops on relevant topics in regards to the care and well-being of our students
• Family support and counselling where required
• Resource and contact person for outside services and agencies providing specialised care
Who can use this service? All students, family members and staff of Heritage College.
How can this service be accessed? Appointments can be made through the College office, by making a direct appointment in person or by phone or r.slade@heritagecollege.com.au. Ray is available during the following times; Mondays from 9:30am to 1:30pm, Wednesdays from 9:30am to 5:30pm and Fridays from 9:30 to 1:30pm .
